Stedman takes out the Junior College Inter-House Swimming Carnival

Monday 18 Dec

The Junior College Inter-House Swimming Carnival took place at the Concordia Aquatic Centre on Tuesday 14 November. The scene was set for a great day with the venue packed full of competitors from both the Junior College Campuses and their swimming fans.

The swimmers displayed great teamwork and showed mateship while cheering for those in the pool.

It was an awesome effort by all the students with Stedman only narrowly edging out Altus and Kessler for the overall honours.

Thank you to Troy, Jodie and TJ’s staff for their great work preparing our students for the event during the recent swimming lessons and through the awesome after school swimming program that is run all year.

Thank you to the parents who volunteered to help out with timekeeping, the Junior College staff for their support on the day, the SSC student helpers, Rachel Farrows and her team of helpers for running the tuckshop all day and also the parents and staff who took on the challenge of the 4 x 25m Freestyle Relay.

Congratulations to Troy's parent team who were just too strong for the staff team in 2017. It was a close race and a lot of fun!
