In 2021, we are celebrating Concordia's 75th anniversary! In recognition of this important milestone, we are launching our first Annual Giving Campaign with two options for our community to give back to Concordia.

The Future Foundation will provide opportunities for the community to offer their support and make tax-deductible donations to important fundraising initiatives for Concordia Lutheran College.

At Concordia Lutheran College, the future looks bright. 

We invite you to contribute to our quest to continually improve what we do at Concordia and provide our students with opportunities for growth and development through our 2021 Annual Giving Campaign.

You can help us by donating to the following initiatives:

  • Lecture Theatre Upgrade at Stephen Street Campus
  • Concordia Scholarships Fund - NOW OPEN!

You will be issued with a Tax Deductible Donation Receipt from the Concordia Lutheran College Future Foundation, ABN: 53 636 371 287. 

Note that you will receive an automated interim receipt confirming your donation at the point of payment. The official receipt will be sent from the Concordia Lutheran College Business Office.

Scholarships Fund - NOW OPEN

Each year, Concordia receives numerous scholarship applications from high performing prospective students.

By contributing to the Scholarships Fund, you will be helping an outstanding student to be given the opportunity to achieve to their potential through a scholarship. 

There is the option to make a one-off donation or to set up regular deductions. All contributions are tax-deductible. 

Your valuable support will enable us to increase the number of scholarships available to students who may otherwise be unable to enjoy the benefits of a Concordia Lutheran College education.

Lecture Theatre Upgrade

The Lecture Theatre at Concordia’s Stephen Street Campus provides an important community space for myriad activities and events, from daily classes to inspiring lectures from external presenters, music recitals and community events.

The refurbishment of the Lecture Theatre will see new carpets and seating installed to provide our community with a modern and functional facility.

You can assist with the refurbishment by making a tax-deductible donation of $500 that will purchase a new seat for the Lecture Theatre. Note that you will be sent an automatically generated interim receipt to confirm your payment. You will be issued with an official tax deductible receipt from our Business Office the following working day.

Your generosity will be recognised with a plaque with your name on a seat and on an honour board displayed in the Lecture Theatre. You will also be invited as a VIP guest to the grand opening of the newly refurbished Lecture Theatre.

Interested in donating more than one seat? You are most welcome to do so! Multiple seats purchases will have the name plaques placed on seats beside each other.

Etch your name in Concordia's History!

With just 100 seats available, this is a rare opportunity to dedicate a chair in the name of a family, a graduating student, a current student, an Old Scholar or a loved one. When you complete the form, there is a field for you to enter the name that will be displayed on a name plaque on a chair. This name will also be displayed on an honour board in the Lecture Theatre.

Important Information

  • Allocation of plaques to seats will be determined by the College.
  • Naming a seat does not reserve the use of the seat for events that take place in the Lecture Theatre.
  • The College reserves the right to reject any seat inscriptions containing offensive or inappropriate language. 
  • The College reserves the right to remove a seat plaque at any stage in the future should the actions of the individual or family named on the plaque commit an offence under federal, state or local law or commit any act that may bring the College into public disrepute, contempt, scandal or ridicule. The removal of a seat plaque would be subject to the review and approval of the College Council and no refunds offered.
  • Seat plaques will remain in place in perpetuity for the life of the Lecture Theatre building. If plaques are damaged they will be replaced by the College.
  • Concordia Lutheran College respects the privacy of its community members and complies with the requirements of the Commonwealth Privacy Act. All information collected for the purpose of the Seat Naming Campaign will be used and stored in accordance with the College’s Privacy Policy.

The Annual Giving Campaign for the Lecture Theatre Upgrade closes Saturday 31 July, however with only 100 seats available we anticipate that it will sell out sooner than this. Don't miss your chance to secure a seat in this exciting project.

Join us for our 75th Anniversary celebrations!

We are excited to be holding a major event to celebrate Concordia's 75th anniversary on Saturday 4 September 2021.

The event will take place on the College ovals from 3pm to 6pm and will feature fabulous entertainment, a variety of German-inspired food and drink, a kids zone to enable parents to enjoy themselves and, of course, the opportunity for our Old Scholars to visit the College and reconnect with old friends.

Current students and their families are also encouraged to attend this event that is designed to bring our entire College community - past and present - together.

There are options to bring a picnic blanket or there will be plenty of seating available.

Expect a relaxed, enjoyable afternoon of good fun, food and friendship!
