Mr Adrian Wiles has been appointed as the new Head of College at Concordia Lutheran College, effective 1 January 2018. Mr Wiles will be joined in Toowoomba by his wife, Jane. Mr Wiles was the unanimous choice of the selection panel after a rigorous nationwide search.

Evie Ford travelling to Europe for International Dance Events

Year 12 student Evie Ford wowed audiences as Glinda the Good Witch in the recent College Musical and now she is heading to Europe in July to participate in world class dancing programs. Evie will travel with five other dancers from the Conservertoire Ballet Company to Italy and Greece for eight days of intensive dancing and networking with some of the world’s finest dancers and teachers.

The Concordia Equestrian Team travelled to Millmerran to compete in the Horse Sports Day last week. The team included Tessa Cox, Caitlin Bates, Darcy Minnikin, Ryan Lawson and Emma Lawson. There were 110 riders on the day representing 35 schools across the region.

Concordia's Musical dazzles audiences with flying, acrobatics and stunts

​Concordia Lutheran College’s 2017 Musical, The Wizard of Oz, dazzled around 1,600 guests over four outstanding performances at the Empire Theatre from 25-27 May.​ Featuring over 100 talented students from across all three campuses, The Wizard of Oz featured a multitude of dazzling effects and a standard of talent that far exceeded that of a regular high school musical.

​Year 11 Concordia Lutheran College student Bryn Burns has recently returned from a trip of a lifetime as part of the Australian Under 16 Boys futsal team which travelled to compete in Italy. Bryn and the boys from the national team were up against teams from Rome, Florence and Naples including Napoli FC.

Concordia ​Donates for Learning

The Rotary Club of Toowoomba North is currently working with the Goodwill Foundation and Concordia Lutheran College is donating old desks, filing cabinets, chairs, books and uniforms to this charity. Recently, they loaded a 40ft container which will be shipped to Vanuatu with the contents to make half a classroom.
