Concordia students set to lose their locks in the fight against cancer

Concordia Lutheran College students will be farewelling their hair next Friday 18 October to help raise valuable funds in the fight against cancer through the World’s Greatest Shave and Cancer Council’s Ponytail Project. The students will bravely shave their heads or cut off their ponytails on the day.

Euphonium takes Samuel Healy to Seattle

When Year 11 student Samuel Healy picked up a euphonium three years ago, he had no idea that the instrument would lead to him taking a trip of a lifetime to Seattle later this year. Samuel has been selected to be one of just 20 students in the Griffith University 2019 Pacific Honours Ensemble Program (PHEP) that will travel to Seattle from 18-27 November.

Concordia students make significant gains in NAPLAN results

Concordia Lutheran College has been identified by the Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority as having a “substantially above average gain” in NAPLAN results as students progressed from Year 3 to 5 and Year 7 to 9 from 2016 to 2018.
