About Us

Concordia Lutheran College offers a unique coeducational learning environment for Kindy to Year 12 students in Toowoomba, Queensland. Our College offers a vibrant community that is inclusive, welcoming and friendly. Every student is seen as an individual with a special contribution to make.

Every child who walks through our doors at Concordia is met with the same quiet, powerful promise: you are known here, you belong here, and you will be challenged to become the very best version of yourself.

From Kindergarten to Year 12, Concordia Lutheran College is a coeducational school built on relationships, rooted in faith, and invested in every student's future. From Term 3, 2026, every student from Prep to Year 12 is united on one integrated campus, a new chapter in a story nearly 80 years in the making.

One College. One Campus. One Community.

Our brand-new Junior College opened its doors on Tuesday 14 July, welcoming all Prep to Year 6 students into purpose-built learning spaces designed for the way children learn best. It marks an exciting new chapter in our nearly 80-year history in Toowoomba, and the beginning of something truly special for every family who calls Concordia home.

Our Kindergartens

Concordia's two Kindergartens, located at our Hume Street and Warwick Street sites, continue to welcome our youngest learners. Each Kindergarten offers a rich, play-based early education program led by degree-qualified teachers, with Hume Street being the only certified Little Scientists House in the wider Darling Downs region. Both Kindergartens provide a warm and nurturing environment that sets children up for a lifetime of learning.

Junior College (Prep – Year 6)

Our Junior College is now home in a stunning, purpose-built facility on the Stephen Street Campus, with entrance from South Street. Here, Prep to Year 6 students learn through curiosity, creativity, and connection, supported by expert teachers, Project-Based Learning, STEM programs, and a pastoral care model built on genuine relationships.

Middle College (Years 7 – 9)

The Middle College bridges the Junior and Senior College experience with structure, care, and growing independence. Dedicated pastoral care, peer mentoring, and a rich curriculum give students the confidence to stretch academically and grow as people, so that by Year 9, they are not just ready for senior school; they are genuinely looking forward to it.

Senior College (Years 10 – 12)

Our Senior College is where students find their direction. With strong academic pathways, workplace traineeships, VET certificates, and life skills programs woven through every year level, our graduates leave Concordia ready, not just qualified. In 2025, 20% of our Year 12 graduates achieved an ATAR of 90 or above, and 71% earned at least one VET qualification.

Boarding

Boarding is available for students in Years 7 to 12 with separate houses for boys and girls. Since 1946, Concordia has offered a warm, structured Christian boarding environment where students are supported around the clock by dedicated residential staff. For regional and rural families, our boarding community is a genuine home away from home.

A Community That Stays With You

At Concordia, we believe education is more than results — it is about belonging to something bigger than a classroom. Our community is built on grace, compassion, and respect, rooted in our Lutheran Christian faith and open to students and families of all backgrounds.

We work alongside families every day, not just at formal events. When parents and teachers work with one heart, students thrive.

Come and see the difference for yourself. We would love to welcome you to our campus.
