Every Monday is Makerspace Monday! Join us as we design, tinker, create, wonder and, of course, make cool things. This week we are making a Leaf People with Mrs Blackwell.
Leaf People
We have been blessed with so many amazing autumn days. The weather is cooling, the leaves are changing colour in and around Toowoomba and there are glorious piles of leaves to play and create with.
In the story Leaf Man written by Lois Ehlert, a leaf man comes to visit and is blown away on an adventure. You can listen to the story here:
The Challenge
Spend some time outside looking around your house or neighbourhood for your own leaf person. You might find they’ve been blown into many pieces!
See if you can collect some leaves and natural features to create your own leaf person.
