Millett Lego Challenge

This week's Makerspace Monday calls on all the Lego fans of the Concordia community, courtesy of the Millett family from Warwick Street Campus.

The Inspiration

Watch the following video from Annabelle Millett from Warwick Street Campus explaining her Lego creations:

The Brief

Build something that is important to you.

Alexander built a cemetery as his Great Nana passed away three weeks ago.

Sebastian built a car that can be transformed into a helicopter to help people.

Annabelle built a hospital as she doesn’t have one and included all items that you need including a trolley with hand sanitiser.

What's important to you?

The Challenge

Now it's your turn! You need to create your own Lego masterpiece. Here are some questions to help you on your way:

  • What type of structure am I going to build?
  • What is the story behind what I am going to build?
  • How can I be creative in the way that I build it?
  • How much time am I going to take to do the build?

Once you have built your structure, please send us a photo of you holding it to marketing@concordia.qld.edu.au. We look forward to seeing what you create!

Do you have an idea for Makerspace Mondays? We'd love to hear from you! Send your ideas to the Marketing email.
