Outstanding Results at Clifton Show

Over the weekend, our dedicated Concordia Lutheran College Show Team delivered an exceptional performance at the annual Clifton Show, held on Friday and Saturday. Despite persistent rain and challenging conditions, our students showcased remarkable professionalism, teamwork and resilience throughout the event.

Strong Results in the British Breeds Heifer Competition

On Friday evening, our team competed in the British Breeds Heifer Competition, achieving impressive placements:

  • 3rd Place – Chloe
  • 4th Place – Austin

The wet weather added an extra layer of difficulty, but our students rose to the challenge with confidence and skill.

Champion Success in the Stud Section

Saturday brought further outstanding results in the Stud Section, where our team achieved a series of major wins, including:

  • Senior Grand Champion – Lowline Cow and Calf (Small Breeds)
  • Senior Grand Champion – Belted Galloway
  • Reserve Champion – Belted Galloway
  • Grand Champion – British Breeds (with the same Belted Galloway)

These achievements are a testament to the dedication and preparation of our agricultural program students, who continue to demonstrate excellence across all levels of competition.

A Special Thank You

We extend our sincere gratitude to Adalee Downs for generously providing the outstanding animals that gave our students such valuable experience in the show ring. Their support plays an important role in the ongoing success of our program

Cyber Safety Information Evening

Students in Years 5-12

As part of our ongoing focus on Pastoral Care and Wellbeing, Concordia Lutheran College has partnered with Optus | Digital Thumbprints, a trusted eSafety Provider, to inform our community about the importance of cyber safety.

Parents and caregivers are invited to attend a presentation on Monday 2 March, from 5pm to 6pm in the Lecture Theatre at Stephen Street Campus. Tea and coffee will be available outside the theatre from 4.30pm.

JC Parent/Teacher Interviews - Week 6

Parent/Teacher Interviews will be open for bookings today Friday 20 February from 3pm and will close on Friday 27 February at 8am!

In these early weeks of the school year, we have been pleased to watch students grow more comfortable in their new classroom settings, establish routines, and begin forming meaningful friendships.

Our upcoming Term 1 Parent/Teacher Interviews are an important opportunity to connect with you and share insights about how your child has adjusted with school life.

During our Parent/Teacher Interviews, we will focus on how your child has:

  • Settled into classroom routines
  • Built friendships and positive peer relationships
  • Developed confidence and independence
  • Managed emotions and adapted to change
  • Engaged in learning and classroom activities

We also greatly value your perspective. You know your child best, and your insights about how they are feeling at home can help us better support them at school.

Parent Teacher Interviews are scheduled for Term 1 Week 6. Interviews can be scheduled before and after school from Monday 2 March until Friday 6 March. All bookings will be made through Parent Lounge.

If you are unsure as to how to book your Parent/Teacher Interview, please click here to view the video tutorial.

Click here for instructions on how to access your Parent Lounge account.

We look forward to meeting with you and celebrating the wonderful start your child has made.
