Rainbow Craft
Here are two ideas to create cloud and rainbow inspired art.
Project 1 - Paper Cloud, Sun and Rainbow
Materials
- White paper
- Coloured paper (optional)
- Glue
- Scissors
- Pens
Method
- Draw a cloud shape on a piece of white paper.
- Cut out the cloud shape.
- If using coloured paper, cut strips of red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple paper. If you only have white paper, cut strips and colour in each strip a colour of the rainbow.
- Glue the strips to the back of the cloud cut out. Leave to dry.
- Draw a face on the front of the cloud.
- Draw a sun on a piece of yellow paper (or draw and colour in a yellow sun on white paper).
- Glue the yellow sun onto the back of the cloud cutout, so part of the sun is showing.
Project 2 - Stick Craft Cloud and Rainbow
Materials
- Coloured paddle pop sticks (you can use uncoloured sticks and colour them in using pens or paint)
- Craft glue
- A4 piece of cardboard (from an old box is fine)
- Cotton wool
- Small pom poms (optional)
- Pen
Method
- Line up the paddle pop sticks vertically (up and down) and then glue two sticks horizontally (side to side) across them.
- Draw a cloud on the cardboard, then cut it out.
- Glue pieces of cotton wool to the cloud cutout.
